“A Very Danish Gift Guide”

Inspired by my time in Copenhagen [Fall, Winter 2024]

My very first gift guide!! I had so much fun putting this together while reflecting on my most recent months living in Copenhagen.

Most everything you’ll find below is something I bought, wanted to buy, or adorned over for more than 5 seconds during my window shopping escapades. To ease the regret of not purchasing everything on this list, I’m sharing it with you in hopes that it sparks the perfect gift for someone special in your life.

While most of these items were inspired by in-person shopping in Copenhagen, all of these brands can be found online and offer international shipping!

April Single-Use Coffee (6pc bundle)

for the friend who’s always traveling.

These single-use coffee packs caught my eye while going for brunch at Darcy’s Cafe last weekend. Perfect for a weekend away or when you don’t want to rely on poor hotel coffee for your morning buzz.

Came Studio Egg Cups

for the person in your life who’s always taking pictures of their food.

After living in Copenhagen, I can’t imagine eating a hard-boiled egg any other way. First, crack the egg in half with a knife or the side of your fork. Then, sprinkle a little salt on both halves using a small spoon. Scoop, dip, and savor your perfectly cooked 8-minute egg. Mini spoon and gourmet salt optional side purchases.

A favorite winter tradition of mine has been going out for a hot chocolate while the sun sets at 4pm. A perfect distraction from the cold, wintery months. With this mix, you won’t even need to leave the warmth of your own home.

for the couple who just moved into their first apartment.

I love swapping out my kitchen towels each week to bring a fresh pop of color to the space. These ones from Hay are perfect for mixing, matching, and sparking a little extra inspiration in the kitchen.

The Louisiana Museum Wall Print

When we visited the Louisiana Museum in September, it took everything in me not to buy a print for every imaginary room in my dream home. Thankfully, their entire collection is available online—and they ship internationally!

Within two weeks of moving to Copenhagen, I noticed all the cool girls wearing rose-shaped hair clips. Naturally, I’m hoping this trend makes its way to New York soon.

Frama Hand Crème

for your mom.

Last year, I gifted my mom Aesop's hand soap. This year, I’m stepping it up with Frama's hand cream. If that’s not what you call evolution, I don’t know what is.
