My very first gift guide!! I had so much fun putting this together while reflecting on my most recent months living in Copenhagen.
Most everything you’ll find below is something I bought, wanted to buy, or adorned over for more than 5 seconds during my window shopping escapades. To ease the regret of not purchasing everything on this list, I’m sharing it with you in hopes that it sparks the perfect gift for someone special in your life.
While most of these items were inspired by in-person shopping in Copenhagen, all of these brands can be found online and offer international shipping!
April Single-Use Coffee (6pc bundle)
for the friend who’s always traveling.
These single-use coffee packs caught my eye while going for brunch at Darcy’s Cafe last weekend. Perfect for a weekend away or when you don’t want to rely on poor hotel coffee for your morning buzz.
Came Studio Egg Cups
for the person in your life who’s always taking pictures of their food.
After living in Copenhagen, I can’t imagine eating a hard-boiled egg any other way. First, crack the egg in half with a knife or the side of your fork. Then, sprinkle a little salt on both halves using a small spoon. Scoop, dip, and savor your perfectly cooked 8-minute egg. Mini spoon and gourmet salt optional side purchases.
Mellow Sea Salt Hot Chocolate Mix
for the homebody.
A favorite winter tradition of mine has been going out for a hot chocolate while the sun sets at 4pm. A perfect distraction from the cold, wintery months. With this mix, you won’t even need to leave the warmth of your own home.
Hay Tea Towels
for the couple who just moved into their first apartment.
I love swapping out my kitchen towels each week to bring a fresh pop of color to the space. These ones from Hay are perfect for mixing, matching, and sparking a little extra inspiration in the kitchen.
Book: The Beauty of Everyday Things
for the friend who looks for a deeper meaning in everything.
This book explores the Japanese philosophy behind everyday objects. Fun fact: Muji translates to "plain ground" in Japanese, reflecting its commitment to natural tones and minimalist design. One section dives into the fascinating founding story of Muji—making it a must-read for the intentional curator in your life.
The Louisiana Museum Wall Print
for your design-loving friend.
When we visited the Louisiana Museum in September, it took everything in me not to buy a print for every imaginary room in my dream home. Thankfully, their entire collection is available online—and they ship internationally!
Frama Ceramic Mug
for the collector in your life.
These are the same mugs Apotek 57 uses to serve their filter coffee. Perfect for warming your hands while enjoying your morning coffee or tea.
Caro Editions Rose Hair Clip
for the girls who wish they lived in Copenhagen.
Within two weeks of moving to Copenhagen, I noticed all the cool girls wearing rose-shaped hair clips. Naturally, I’m hoping this trend makes its way to New York soon.
I love how this accessory takes the classic claw clip to the next level. Perfect for disguising a bad hair day or adding a touch of elegance to your daytime look.
Frama Hand Crème
for your mom.
Last year, I gifted my mom Aesop's hand soap. This year, I’m stepping it up with Frama's hand cream. If that’s not what you call evolution, I don’t know what is.
But seriously, everything from Frama is pure perfection. This scent, in particular, combines aromatic notes of sandalwood, cedar, and ylang-ylang, making it ideal for everyday use—whether at home or on the go.
Tekla Cashmere Socks
for the very deserving friend.
I recently invested in a pair of cashmere socks, and I've been wearing them everywhere—from loafers for a cozy, elevated look to lounging at home on the couch in my pajamas. Basically, I slip them on anytime I want to feel extra cozy and warm. The perfect gift for someone who deserves a little extra comfort in their life.
Lie Studio Leather Belt
for the woman who considers black and white her color palette.
I’ve been completely captivated by everything Lie Studio creates. Their elevated, minimal pieces have me wanting everything on their website. (It’s probably obvious I’m the type of woman who considers black and white my color palette.) These timeless, refined basics are a must for any classy, elegant, and effortlessly chic woman in your life.
Another Aspect Men’s Crossbody Bag
for the man in your life who isn’t afraid to be a trend setter.
Men should own bags, not backpacks. There, I said it. This one is ideal for carrying all the essentials a man needs—no more asking the women in his life to hold his sunglasses case in her shoulder bag.
A Playful Oxford Shirt by Palmes
for the man in your life who needs a little push to get dressed up.
The perfect layering piece for winter or on its own in the summer. This versatile item adds a pop of color beneath a sweater, pairs effortlessly with a t-shirt and black slacks for an elevated daytime look, or works just as well in summer with shorts and sneakers. It’s also ideal for throwing on after sports (bonus points if he plays tennis).
A Petite Table Lamp by Audo
for your friend who needs a little light in their life.
Everything Audo creates is flawless. Their home goods are beautifully crafted with a Danish minimalist design. These small table lamps are perfect for nighttime reading on the couch, in bed, or anywhere else you need a bit of extra light. Plus, they’re easy to pick up and take with you wherever you go.
